Art for the inside title page of Litmag, UMSL's literary magazine.
My goal with this piece was to replicate the timeless and classic look of old books. I wanted to give the publication a sense of familiarity and prestige, and to make the reader feel as if they were holding an old copy of their favorite book. Much of my inspiration came from old type specimens and the 1923 book "The Manuscript of Linotype Typography".
